Douglas Fir has the highest strength to weight ratio of any wood species. Clear vertical grain douglas fir flooring has been used throughout the US since the 1800's and is often found in historic homes. We reclaim our douglas fir from high school gymnasium bleachers and other sources. In addition to CVG grade, we also offer douglas fir flooring in #2 & Better and CMG grades.
